Galaxy® Glass & Stone provides a wide variety of customized finishing options to create the most innovative looks and meet most every design challenge.

Beveling and Edgework

Beveling and edgework detailing for glass and mirror. Beveling enhances any glass or mirror panel. Most effective on thick glass.

We offer many custom bevels in sizes from 1/8"-2" for glass up to 11/4" in thickness. Not all bevels are available for all shapes and thickness of glass. Selection of bevels and prices upon request.

Bending

Custom bending to specifications for framed or freestanding installations.

Custom Setup Mitre™

Panel to panel installations to create continuous expanses of glass or mirror. Edges are precision fit with a 45° mitre and a highly polished optical finish. The result is a clean expanse of glass or mirror with joints that sparkle like prisms.

Custom Contouring

Our custom scribing allows glass and mirror to be custom fit to columns, arches, or any other architectural contours of a room.

Colors

Glass and mirror work is available in the following stock colors: clear, bronze, champagne, mist, gray, peach, gold, sapphire, ebony, and mint.

Fractured Glass

Surface detailing for glass and mirror.
Not available for other materials.
Cracked-ice/textured, lace effect in laminated glass and mirror. Especially suited for use as background for carved designs. Also used as highlighting within a design, or as an allover random pattern creating, especially on mirror, a dazzling effect. Refracts light on glass, reflections on mirror.

Precision Fitting

Our fitting tolerances exceed all industry standards. No room is perfectly square, and most glass and mirror installers add frames or moldings to hide gaps and imperfections. We custom scribe our cuts to a room's actual shape. As a result, we can bring glass or mirror into direct contact with adjoining walls or ceilings without the need for borders. This technique creates the illusion of continuity and expands the visual effect of a room to emphasize your design concepts.

Lacquered Glass

For custom colors on glass. This technique is opaque, and may be carved to create dramatic visual effects.

Brass/Stainless Steel

Signage, displays, sculptures. Custom fabrications and installations.

We can assist you in preparing for project presentations. Our design staff can provide you with custom samples of intricate designs or special patterns for a nominal charge.

Galaxy® Glass & Stone is fully equipped sandblasting facility enables us to carve any design, logo, or pattern in glass, mirror, and a variety of other materials. Custom detailing such as bending, beveling, cold-leafing and chipping are also available. Our art department can interpret your design concepts and suggest appropriate materials and manner of design execution. Galaxy® Glass & Stone project managers supervise each project from concept to completion. We take pride in meeting our project specifications and deadlines.
