Le Mystère®

Le Mystère® is a Custom View Control Product manufactured exclusively by Galaxy® Glass & Stone. A PET Film has been encapsulated between two (2) lights of Float Glass forming an Architectural Glass panel which meets all applicable Safety Glazing Codes. The two (2) lights of Glass may be specified as Clear, UltraClear, Tinted, Colored, Patterned, depending on the requirements of the specifier. The overall thickness of this custom Laminated Product is available in 8.0mm (5/16"), 11mm (7/16"), 13mm (9/16") and Custom thickness depending on the glass types specified.

Le Mystère® View Control Custom Laminates is available in four (4) configurations:

Configuration "A" - When viewed from straight on, Le Mystère® is Obscure. When viewed from a left or right angle, it is Transparent.

Configuration "B" - When viewed from straight on, Le Mystère® is Transparent. When viewed from the right side, the panel is Obscure.

Configuration "C" - When viewed from straight on, Le Mystère® is Transparent. When viewed from the left side, the panel is Obscure.

Configuration "D" - When viewed from straight on, Le Mystère® is Transparent. When viewed from a left or right angle, it is Obscure.

Configuration "A-B-C-D" - May be rotated 90° for top to bottom View Control.

Overall thickness will be based on customers requirements and recommendations of our Technical Department based on size and usage criteria.
Le Mystère® Interlayer is available in a 48" maximum width. A horizontal seam or seams within the glass panels are necessary for panels larger than 48" in height.
If a panel is more than 48" wide and does not exceed 48" in height, a seamless panel will be manufactured.
Glazing applications in high Ultraviolet environments (exterior glazings, etc.) may require specific design considerations. Please consult Galaxy prior to quotations and manufacturing to discuss panel locations.
Inherent irregularities found on the surface of tempered glass will be accentuated by the application of the View Control Film component. Please contact Galaxy for specifics.
