Le Mystère® Galaxy® Glass & Stone patented View Control Custom Laminated Glass: Selected for the four sided, floor to ceiling perimeter walls of the stairwell enclosures on all five floors. When looking straight ahead at eye level, LEMYSTERE_TEXT "D" allows a transparent view of the Sculptural Elliptical Stairs. Ascending or descending, however, LEMYSTERE_TEXT "D" obscures the office space and stairs, creating an effect of simultaneous transparency and connectivity that both enhances the drama and maintains the privacy of this brilliantly designed space. Custom Laminated SilkMirror® - This unique glass product was indicated for the interior cladding of solid glass wall elevations (spandrel areas) within the five stories of the stairwell. SILKMIRROR_TEXT has a non staining treated surface. A mixture of sulfuric and folic acids are utilized to "wash" this surface, providing a smoother and more uniform finish to the entire sand blasted/etched area. This special process transforms the hard and reflective planes to a softness that beautifully diffuses light. A highly sophisticated acid neutralizing system, which strictly complies with Japanese Environmental Protection standards, is employed to create an acid washed product that is substantially different from those produced anywhere else in the world.

Custom Laminated Composite Light Diffusion Panels (ULOL,330) - The roof of the entire stair enclosure consists of this custom laminate created to evenly diffuse and conceal the fiber optic lighting.

Custom Colored Laminated Glass Panels - Galaxy color matched and manufactured these custom colored panels for the entry wall cladding on each floor to Skidmore Owing specifications.

Custom Laminated Composite Water Closet Doors (ULCL SilkGlas® 500) - Galaxy prepared full height laminated tempered frameless doors consts matte finished (non staining surface) glass on the #1 Surface, an opaque interlayer and clear float glass on the back (#4) of the composite. These Toilet Stall Doors were manufactured to accept Stainless Steel Patch Pivot hardware and a mid-height latch lock.

Asahi® Pure Beige EX - Backpainted Waterwhite glass panels are installed in each of the five elevator lobbies. All lobby area walls are clad with these materials, which are fully fabricated by Galaxy® Glass & Stone. Provisions were incorporated into the design for call buttons, floor indicators, fire alarms, and polished edgework as required. Galaxy imports, distributes, and fabricates Asahi ®decorative glass products.
